A hilarious video of a kangaroo attacking the gates of the Russian embassy in Australia has gone viral.
It seems that Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has gained another ally in the ongoing conflict with Russia after the marsupial was caught attempting to make its way into the building in the Australian capital of Canberra.
Footage shows the kangaroo jumping up to the gates, as it stops to analyse what is in front.
The animal can be seen kicking at the gates several times before it stops for a short breather.
After struggling the first time round, the muscly animal then has another go at trying to fit through the gaps.
However, it then admits defeat and hops off in a pretty comical fashion.
The video, which was shared by journalist Bakhti Nishanov on Twitter, gathered hundreds of views.
He added the caption: “Apparently a kangaroo attacked the gates of the Russian embassy in Australia.
"I guess now we know where kangaroos stand on the war.”
And despite the creature's inability to make it through, people on social media have found the funny side of the video.
One person wrote: "He'll get in some other way eventually, then there will be trouble."
Another said: "Just wait until the cassowarys get in on the action, they won't know what hit them".
While a third smartly wrote: "Russia will kangaroo the day they invaded Ukraine."
And a fourth horrifyingly wrote: "Unleash the drop bears!"
The embassy has since said they had “detected an unauthorised access attempt”, but reassured viewers that “no harm done”.
The video follows in the latest clips to go viral on the topic of Russia and Ukraine.
Most recently, the Ukrainian Government posted a damning satirical video warning Russians not to go on 'holiday' to Crimea.
The beginning of the video says: "You had a few options this summer", before flashing to scenic images of Dubai, Turkey, and Cuba.
“You chose Crimea...big mistake…Crimea is Ukraine."
"Unless they want an unpleasantly hot summer break, we advise our valued Russian guests not to visit Ukrainian Crimea," the ministry wrote on Twitter, alongside the video.
