Hijab not an essential religious practice, reiterates Karnataka govt in HC; hearing to resume on Tuesday

BENGALURU: The Karnataka government on Monday reiterated before the full bench of the high court that hijab is not an essential religious practice. The govt said that religious instructions should be kept outside the educational institutions.

The full bench will resume the hearing on Tuesday at 2.30pm.
