One of the more encouraging storylines of the 2022 preseason has been the development of James Wiseman. After only playing 39 games during his rookie campaign, followed by missing all of his second season due to an injury, the 21-year-old center has impressed through four games into the preseason.
With the chance to start in place of Kevon Looney on Tuesday night, Wiseman continued to flourish, scoring 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. The Memphis product added seven boards, two assists and an emphatic block in 18 minutes. On his way to stuffing the boxscore, Wiseman showed off his blend of size and athleticism with multiple dunks at the rim.

The former No. 2 overall pick from the 2020 NBA draft has now recorded double-figures in scoring in three of the Warriors’ four preseason games.
