Uini is a powerful run blocker. Additionally, he has good mobility and pad level. The 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive lineman is capable of getting out and blocking for receivers and running backs on screen plays.
Uini uses his mobility well when he pulls on running plays. He does a good job of getting to the second level and moves defenders off the line of scrimmage as a pulling tackle. The four-star will continue filling in his lengthy frame before playing in the SEC.
Michael Uini plays high school football and basketball for Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, Texas. Copperas Cove in the 6A division of Texas high school football, so Uini plays against a pretty high level of competition. In 2022, Uini primarily played left tackle for Copperas Cove.
The big offensive lineman is rated as the No. 27 player in Texas. Michael Uini is the No. 9 offensive lineman. The four-star is considered the No. 145 player in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
Michael Uini is Georgia’s third offensive line commitment in the class of 2024. Uini joins fellow offensive line recruits Marcus Harrison and Malachi Toliver as Bulldog commitments.
