39th Independent Spirit Awards celebrated indie film and TV excellence.

The 39th annual Independent Spirit Awards took place last night, honoring the best of independent film and TV from the past year. Hosted by Aidy Bryant, the event saw a star-studded turnout to celebrate indie movies and shows.

Some of the notable winners included 'Past Lives,' which clinched the titles of Best Feature and Best Director for Celine Song. Jeffrey Wright was awarded Best Lead Performance for his role in 'American Fiction,' while Da'Vine Joy Randolph added to her accolades by winning Best Supporting Performance for 'The Holdovers.'
