The second day of Cleveland Browns training camp brought about a little bit of offense versus defense after the first day did not include any of it. Unfortunately, WR Anthony Schwartz got hurt to join rookie WR David Bell and left more concerns about the depth at the position.
WR Amari Cooper talked about his role on the team no matter who the quarterback is and gave QB Deshaun Watson an interesting nickname. Veteran S John Johnson III discussed returning for year two in the same defense and fellow safety Grant Delpit’s ceiling as one of the best in the league.
Many of the highlights from day two of camp involved another wide receiver, Donovan Peoples-Jones. The third-year man out of Michigan was highly targeted by Watson throughout practice leading to many video highlights between the two.
