A popular Scottish wildlife park is offering animal fans a once in a lifetime chance to not only name an adorable polar bear cub – but also meet and feed him too.
The team at Highland Wildlife Park, near Kingussie, has created a competition giving people the chance to enjoy a unique behind the scenes visit as well as a two-night stay at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, which runs the park, is hoping to raise funds via the competition to help build a new Wildlife Discovery Centre.
Posting on the crowdfunding page (which you can find here ), they wrote: "For just £5, you can enter this amazing prize draw to win the chance to help select the cub’s name and meet and feed our adorable new arrival and his devoted mum, Victoria.
"We know that our new arrival is a healthy wee boy. Now, you can help our keepers choose the perfect name for him.
"To make it even more special, you can bring three of your loved ones to share this incredible experience with you."
They added that each entry will be doubled by the charity's supporters with nearly £20,000 raised already for the project.
There's just over a week left to enter and each entry will be in with a chance of winning the thrilling experience which will see them and three loved ones head to the park and go behind the scenes to meet and feed the cub and his mum Victoria.
The keepers will then put together a list of potential names and then work with the winner to select the perfect fit.
Everyone who enters will also be sent a short film of the playful little cub produced exclusively as a thank you to entrants to this prize draw.
The little polar bear club, who is the baby brother of Hamish, the first polar bear cub to be born in the UK in 25 years, was born to parents Victoria and Arktos at the wildlife park near Kingussie in December and since then has been spending time in the birthing den snuggling up with its mother.
