This year’s winner of Love Island, Ekin-Su Culculoglu, has been revealed as the highest-earning contestant on Instagram from this year’s series.
Data released today has shown her earning potential now topping €11,500 per sponsored post.
The findings, provided by CasinoGuardian, are based on the average sum influencers can charge for sponsored posts and stories on Instagram, as reported by eMarketer.

The actress and model currently has a 3.2 million follower count which marks the highest of any other Season 8 Islander.
The next highest-earning Love Islander on the platform is Ekin-Su’s boyfriend and fellow Islander Davide Sanclimenti, who has 1.9 million followers - and is making the equivalent of €7,200 per post.
If the duo were to land a joint sponsorship deal or launch a joint venture that would require them to post ads, they could make a massive €19,200 per Instagram post.
This makes them the most valuable couple from this year’s show, as runner-ups Gemma Owen (2.1m followers) and Luca Bish (2.1m followers) only have a joint earning potential of €13,600.
If they’d stayed together, the next most valuable couple would have been Adam Collard (1.2m followers) and Paige Thorne (1.5m followers), with earnings of around €10,200 per joint post.
When it comes to the individual earning potential of this year’s Love Islanders, the findings show that women have a higher value on Instagram than men in general.
Next is Gemma Owen, with an individual earning potential of €7.8k per sponsored post, and Tasha Ghouri, with an earning potential of €5.6k per upload - the same as Paige Thorne.
Of course, Love Islanders’ earning potential isn’t limited to Instagram, but it does prove a fruitful platform for promoting sponsorship deals - with winner Ekin-Su getting closer to the earning potential of some of the most successful historic Islanders.
She still has a while to go before she reaches the same level as Molly-Mae Hague, however - who, with 6.7 million followers, can charge a staggering €25k per sponsored upload.
