A school has had to close down for the day after a pipe burst on the site.
Range High School on Stapleton Road in Formby had to close this morning due to a "major pipe burst". The school has been left without running water or working toilets for the pupils to use.
Engineers are currently on site and the school told the ECHO that updates on when they would reopen will be announced later today. Range also apologised to parents for any inconvenience caused.

A post on their official Twitter page said: " Due to a major pipe burst in school we have had to isolate the water to site. As a result, school will have to close for the day whilst the pipe is being repaired. Please watch out for updates on our website and Twitter account as well as via email. Sorry for any inconvenience."
An email was sent out to parents this morning informing them of the school's temporary closure.
