A Victoria police officer has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, alleged to have occurred while he was on duty in Melbourne’s northwest.
Police on Thursday confirmed a 49-year-old leading senior constable from the force’s northwest region had been charged with three counts of sexual assault and other related offences.
The charges relate to four separate incidents that occurred between 2020 and 2023 in the suburbs of Epping, Greensborough, Fawkner and Kalkallo.
They said the member was on duty at the time of the incidents.
He will appear before a court at a later date.
