High Court judge bans Orange Order members from walking down road at Drumcree event

A HIGH Court judge in Belfast has passed a temporary injunction against a Parades Commission decision allowing the Orange Order to march down the predominantly nationalist Garvaghy Road in Northern Ireland on Sunday.

Lawyers engaged in High Court proceeding as residents of Garvaghy Road in Portadown launched a legal challenge against a ruling to permit the Orange Order to walk down the street for the first time in 30 years.
