Meghan Markle is a fashion icon worldwide thanks to her incredible style, but the shoes she wore while paying her respects to The Queen has left people confused. Joining the rest of the royal family at the Palace of Westminster this week, the Duchess of Sussex dressed head-to-toe in black including a pair of simple but elegant heels.
When she performed a deep curtsey to the late Monarch's coffin on the way out of the service, eagle-eyed fans noticed an unusual symbol on the soles of her shoes. Many were left wondering if the three straight and one curved lines, which all overlap, were a personalised or perhaps even a moving tribute to her husband's grandmother.
However fashion experts quickly recognised what the P and A markings actually mean.
