'Hidden' room found at Ikea and now thousands are searching for it

A woman has discovered a 'hidden' room inside her local Ikea - and now people are rushing to find it themselves.

TikTok star Anjali found the secret infinity room in the Swedish furniture store in Greenwich, London, behind a door that had a discreet sign on it.

Documenting her journey in a video on social media, Anjali urged her fans to go and find it themselves, describing it as a 'fun adventure', reports the Mirror.

After sharing the video on TikTok, Anjali was inundated with comments from people asking how they could find the room, but so far she hasn't given any instructions.

In the video, which has been viewed more than 140,000 times, Anjali wrote: "This is your sign to find the secret infinity room in Ikea."

The video shows Anjali walking around the Ikea store, going down a travelator and opening the door to the Infinity room which is full of mirror lights.

Beneath the video, many people were determined to find out more about the room, including if their local store also had one.

One person said: "Does it have this in every Ikea?"

A second wrote "Oh my God - is there one in Newcastle?"

A third added: "I went to the Greenwich Ikea so many times and never saw this."

While this infinity room seems specific to the Greenwich store, Ikea hasn’t ruled out the possibility of similar surprises at stores across the UK.

An IKEA spokesperson told the Liverpool ECHO: “Knowing that our stores are the best place to offer the ‘IKEA magic’ when it comes to home-furnishing inspiration, we’re reimagining the way we present elements of our range, focused on creating imaginative, immersive experiences, that surprise and delight our customers, such as the mirrored room in Greenwich, that features our IKEA PS 2014 pendant lamp.

“You’ll have to visit your closest store to find out what’s waiting to surprise you.”
