The crowd at the Empire Theatre roared all the way through the Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial.
A hilarious adaptation of the libel case that gripped the UK, ever since that fated '... it's Rebekah Vardy's account' post, had the crowd at the Empire in stitches with spot-on jokes, gaffes and even the odd football cameo.
I'd never have thought all the drama from the Wagatha Christie trial would come out so well in around two hours of stage time, but the mix of courtroom drama and comedy makes perfect sense when you think about it, and is more than enjoyable in person.
