Hidden manor behind busy road set to go under the hammer

The opportunity to buy and renovate a massive 11 bedroom manor, which is tucked away behind one of the busiest roads in north Liverpool, has come onto the market.

The sprawling red brick property sits in a cul-de-sac in Walton Village, not far from Queens Drive and County Road, and right next to Allsopp High School.

The Rightmove listing advertising the auction said there is "mountains of potential with this building".

As well as a staggering number of bedrooms, the building also has five reception rooms, offering plenty of living space for potential buyers.

Both living and sleeping accommodation is spread over three floors. There is also a canteen area, in a throwback to the building's use as offices.

The property on the market for a guide price of £400,000 and is set to go under the hammer with auctioneer IAmSold.

Despite the space being littered with long forgotten office supplies, the bones of the house remain. There is ornate coving, fireplaces, solid doors and a pair of stunning floor to ceiling bay windows.
