Hibs begin their Premiership campaign away at St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon as they look to make a strong start to the season.
It was a disastrous Premiership campaign last time out as the Easter Road club went through three managers in a season and ended up in the bottom six. It falls to former Sunderland manager Lee Johnson to guide them back towards the European places but it has not been an ideal start, already out the Premier Sports Cup after a difficult group stage campaign.
They have received pre-match boosts with work permits granted for left-back Marijan Cabraja and striker Elie Youan. That contrasts with the blow of fellow summer signing Aiden McGeady missing the first few months of the season through a knee injury suffered in a friendly against Norwich City. Johnson's team only have this competition to focus on until 2023 and they will be keen for a strong run. Here's who Edinburgh Live Sport thinks will start the match for Hibs.
