Hibs sell out Easter Road as big hearted fans donate cut price tickets to local community

Hibs fans are set to pack out Easter Road on Saturday after two supporters initiatives.

Shaun Maloney’s men entertain St Johnstone and every seat in the stadium will be filled.

It comes after big-hearted Hibees snapped up 400 ‘donation’ tickets for the match against the Perth side.

Those briefs will be distributed by Hibernian Community Foundation to local schools, social inclusion groups and community education classes.

And, coupled with the ‘Football For A Fiver’ scheme with all tickets available for just £5 the match is now sold out.

Maloney will be hoping the fans can roar his side on as they look to reel in Edinburgh rivals Hearts.

They battled to a goalless draw against leaders Celtic at Easter Road on Sunday and travel to Dundee on Wednesday.

Hibs currently sit 11 points behind the Jambos who they face in the final game before the Scottish Premiership split.
