Hibs will open the new Scottish Premiership campaign with a showdown against St Mirren.
Lee Johnson and his troops ended last season with a fifth place finish and that was enough to secure a crack at the Europa Conference League qualifying route after Celtic's Scottish Cup success over Inverness at Hampden. The Easter Road side enter the second round and will need to navigate three two-legged ties to reach the group stage. The competitive action for them gets underway BEFORE the league kicks-off with the schedule for the season now released by the SPFL.
The Hibees faithful will already have the derby clashes with Hearts circled as they bid for plenty of capital bragging rights throughout the campaign and the all important one come matchday 38 in the league standings. But that is a long way off yet as the men from Leith look to improve on last season's finish and once again book a European adventure come the end of the campaign.
