Influential wing-back Chris Cadden missed out with a knock, while new signing Aiden McGeady went down with an injury early doors in the first half. Elias Melkersen put them ahead just before half-time. Eight changes were made for the following 45 minutes with next week's Premiership opener in mind, as goalkeeper David Marshall also missed this one through sickness.

Paul Hanlon and Demetri Mitchell have returned to non-contact training and alongside them, Kyle Magennis, Jake Doyle-Hayes, Lewis Stevenson and Kevin Nisbet are all still injured.
