Andy Walker believes Hibs have a bloated squad and are NOT getting value for money like rivals Hearts.
Lee Johnson has already admitted to having to move players on from his Easter Road pool before he can add. The likes of Momodou Bojang, Joao Balde and Steven Bradley have already departed the capital while Jake Doyle-Hayes has interest from south of the border and key defender Ryan Porteous - out of contract in the summer - is also heading for the exit door this month with interest high in his services as the Hibees look to secure a fee and not lose the top talent for nothing.
Pundit Walker believes recruitment at Hibs has been 'really poor' and when they are able to spend money the club have a really good opportunity for success but have not been able to spend wisely in recent years. A new Director of Football will be appointed at the club in the weeks ahead in a restructure change behind the scenes.

He told Sky Sports: "They [Hibs] are a club who are capable of working in the transfer market. I have it at around 15 players that Lee Johnson has brought in and I don't think he uses enough of them. I think that tells that the recruitment has been really poor.
"They are a club capable of signing players and giving them good salaries in relation to Scottish football. I think it is a bloated squad at the moment and I don't think they are getting value for money unlike Hearts across the road so that certainly needs to improve.
"When you do have money to spend - we are not blessed in Scotland with the amount of money available in the top two divisions in England - you really need to try and get it right. They are in a totally different market but it is a great product we have here. We are on the doorstep of the richest league in the world and it is a really good platform for players to come and play.
"We've seen a lot of success over the last number of years so Hibs have a really good opportunity when spending money I just don't think they've done it wisely in recent years."
