Hibs defender Josh Doig 'ignoring' transfer speculation after summer learning curve

Josh Doig will ignore renewed speculation about his future to enjoy his football at Hibernian.

The 19-year-old left-back was linked with moves to English Premier League clubs Arsenal, Leeds and Watford last summer but remained at Easter Road and in November signed a new deal that runs until the summer of 2026.

However, reports claimed Serie A side Sassuolo were at Pittodrie at the weekend to cast their eye on Doig and Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay during the Premiership clash between the Dons and Hibs.
