Hibs have sealed the signing of Demetri Mitchell from Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
The former Hearts player, who can play as a full-back and a winger, becomes Shaun Maloney's latest signing.
Mitchell, an ex-Manchester United player, had two spells on loan at Tynecastle in recent years - both being cut short by injury.
The 25-year-old left Old Trafford in 2020 for the Seasiders but has now made the switch to Leith.
He has penned a contract with the club until the summer of 2024.
The addition comes after the departure of Martin Boyle, who completed a move to Al Faisaly on Friday.
A £2.5million fee was agreed with the club for their old talisman, which includes add-ons based on performance.
On the arrival of Mitchell, Maloney said: "I’m delighted to sign Demetri.
"He brings excellent attributes in different positions and will help us in both attacking and defensive situations.
"As a player, he brings real technical quality and outstanding speed, particularly in one vs one situations.
"My staff and I look forward to working with him."
He becomes the latest January signing for Hibs after the additions of Harry Clarke, Ewan Henderson, Elias Melkersen and Rocky Bushiri.
