Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepts rockets launched from the Gaza Strip

On Tuesday morning, approximately 15 projectiles were fired from Lebanon into northern and central Israel. The Israeli military reported that some of the projectiles were intercepted, while others landed in open areas.

Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant group, claimed responsibility for the attack. They stated that their targets included a location outside Tel Aviv, the Glilot military base in central Israel, which houses a military intelligence unit, and a naval base in the Haifa area.

Despite the barrage of rockets, the Israeli military has confirmed that there were no injuries resulting from the attack. Additionally, there have been no immediate reports of any damage caused by the rocket fire.

This incident marks a concerning escalation of tensions between Lebanon-based Hezbollah and Israel. The exchange of fire underscores the ongoing conflict and animosity between the two parties, with the potential for further violence and retaliation.

Israeli authorities are closely monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond to any further threats or attacks. The international community is also observing the developments in the region with a keen interest, as any escalation could have broader implications for regional stability.
