Hezbollah, a terrorist group, launched a series of rocket and drone attacks on Israel, causing continuous alerts on Israeli warning apps. This marked their second major attack in as many days, following the elimination of a top Hezbollah commander, Sami Taleb Abdullah, in an Israeli airstrike.
Despite the attacks, Israel has not reported any injuries from either incident. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the strike on a Hezbollah command and control center in Southern Lebanon, resulting in the elimination of Sami Taleb Abdullah and three other Hezbollah operatives.
These attacks have led to the evacuation of nearly 100,000 Israelis from their homes in northern Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of a potential full-scale war with Hezbollah if the attacks continue to escalate.
Hezbollah's aggression began shortly after the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas launched an invasion of Israel on October 7, resulting in significant casualties, including over 1,200 deaths, including more than 30 Americans.
