Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for carrying out 31 attacks against Israel and its troops in southern Lebanon, as stated in a group statement released early Tuesday local time. The attacks, which involved rockets, missiles, and drones, were conducted in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon and its people, according to the statement.
Hezbollah reported that it had engaged Israeli forces attempting to advance on the Lebanese border and had also targeted Israeli military sites, bases, and settlements in northern Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed in a statement that Hezbollah had launched around 170 projectiles from Lebanon into Israel on Monday.
