ALBANY, BAHAMAS: Tiger Woods knows where he and his game are. He also knows what he is up against. He knows he is facing a tough battle with a body that has faced the scalpel too many times. Yet, he lasted four and a half hours to shoot 75 at the Hero World Challenge in his first competitive round since April.
The takeaways were mixed. The legend himself seemed ‘satisfied’ with the first step in his long walk to recovery. He smiled on the 18th green, hugged playing partner Justin Thomas and met the media for a fair length of time.
