A hero bystander who wrestled a rifle from a gunman during the Bondi Beach terror attack has been presented with a cheque for more than $2.5 million.
Ahmed Al-Ahmed, 43, shot to fame when video of him jumping on attacker Sajid Akram went viral as the gunman was picking off victims.
