Here’s where Costco is opening 10 new stores across the US

  • Members-only retailer Costco Wholesale is expanding its physical presence by opening 10 new warehouse stores across nine US states over the next two months.
  • The planned openings throughout October include new stores in Lee’s Summit, Missouri; The Colony, Texas; Amherst, New York; Lawrence, Kansas; and Camarillo, California.
  • In November, new stores will open in South Meridian, Idaho; Vallejo, California; Chandler, Arizona; Newport News, Virginia; and Franklin, Wisconsin.
  • Costco reported net sales of $297.3 billion for its 2026 fiscal year, representing a 10.2 per cent increase compared to the previous year as demand for wholesale shopping continues to grow.
  • Consumer experts note that purchasing items in bulk at warehouse chains offers shoppers superior unit-price deals, helping customers mitigate the impact of rising grocery prices and inflated fuel costs.
