In years gone by, investors would have considered the litany of geopolitical crises that the world is currently facing, would have been sufficiently menacing to have sent global markets into quite a spin.
Yet today, considering the severity of many of these potential crises, including the overthrow of Maduro of Venezuela, the continual bombardment of Ukraine by Russia, orchestrated by the despotic Putin, and President Trump’s tiresome and jingoistic obsession to takeover or buy Greenland, investment managers have coped well and taken the potential ramifications from these crises in their stride.
