The local council have explained why the Gallaigh Community Centre has not opened to the public yet.
It was anticipated that the building would be opened to local community groups at the end of March.
Speaking to MyDerry in February, Cllr Brian Tierney said the £1.5million space would allow local groups to offer the "best service" they can for the people of Galliagh.

The Department for Communities, the Council and other partners have funded the project that will host the Galliagh Women’s Group, On Street Community Youth, Galliagh Community Group, Teach Na Failte and CRJ.
The opening of the new hub comes after neighbouring centres in Shantallow and Top of the Hill were opened in 2021.
Other sites, including Ballymagroarty and Hazelbank, Culmore and Glenview are expected to be built in the coming years.
Meanwhile, when MyDerry asked Derry City and Strabane District Council why the community centre remained closed, a spokesperson said it was due to 'issues installing an energy-efficient system'.
It's understood the council's compliance team will meet with system installers this week to discuss the issues.
In the full statement, the spokesperson said:"Some issues have arisen in relation to the installation of an energy-efficient system at the centre.
"System installers are to meet with Council's compliance team to discuss the system in more detail this week.
"It's hoped that a resolution can be found and that plans for the official opening can progress in the coming weeks."
