Beauty fans flocked to Liverpool ONE this morning for the grand opening of Space NK and I for one was very excited.
The company is known for stocking on-trend makeup and skincare brands including Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, Olaplex, Diptyque, Hourglass, Coco & Eve and Skin Rocks by Caroline Hirons.
Skincare queen Caroline Hirons was there herself showcasing her favourite products from the range, and had the grand job of cutting the ribbon to officially open the store. I was blown away by the huge queues waiting to go into the store, and chatted to some beauty lovers who had even taken the day off work to be there.

Space NK is a hugely popular brand loved globally, and the fact it's now within easy reach for a quick trip in Liverpool ONE is amazing. I've always thought that Liverpool ONE was missing somewhere that stocked more niche American brands such as Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez.
Despite us having Harvey Nichols in the Beauty Bazaar, I can sometimes find a trip to the store a little overwhelming - especially if it's busy. I spend half of my time searching for a specific product, whereas with Space NK, it's all in one smaller space.
Although, it's definitely not too small, as the 1,850 sq ft store contains a makeover area and the chance for customers to try and test products. The store is tucked away in with what I'd call the 'luxurious' section of Liverpool ONE, surrounded by designer brands such as Reiss and Hugo Boss.
The arrival of Space NK is just another reminder that Liverpool ONE is continuing to grow. We might have seen a fair few closures this year, but we've also seen plenty of new exciting openings.
The huge queues around Liverpool ONE this morning is a prime example of our city welcoming the brand with open arms. The rise of luxury beauty retailers such as Space NK is here, and since we're a city of beauty lovers, we definitely deserve it more than anyone.
