Quarterback rankings happen often during the NFL offseason and if there’s a saving grace for Cincinnati Bengals fans, it’s that Joe Burrow typically slots within the top three spots.
That’s the case in a new set of rankings from Touchdown Wire’s Natalie Miller, who puts Burrow third overall:
“One of the coolest and calmest signal callers in the league, Joe Burrow is primed for another swing at the Super Bowl trophy. With his game developing each season, Burrow is proving he will be a mainstay at the top of this list for years to come. With elite weapons around him, there is little doubt he will be one of the front-runners for MVP.”
Bengals fans might find some beef with the fact Burrow sits behind Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen here, but it’s not unreasonable and pretty hard to complain about him being declared an MVP frontrunner.
Like power rankings for all 32 teams, the Bengals slot around the top three to five, as does Burrow in positional rankings. The different results hinge on the actual details that make up the rankings and personal opinions.
Which is another way of saying that Bengals fans have it pretty great right now, considering where team and quarterback typically rank for everyone who puts together such projects.
