Here’s what Russell Wilson officially looks like as a Denver Bronco

Russell Wilson played the first decade of his NFL career in the blue, gray, and occasionally-neon green uniforms of the Seattle Seahawks. That’s where he won a Super Bowl. It’s where he led 36 different game-winning drives. It’s where he was named to nine Pro Bowls.

But that era is over. He was traded to the Denver Broncos this offseason in exchange for multiple first-round draft picks. Now, with the start of Denver’s voluntary spring workouts upon us, we finally know what he’ll look like in the Broncos’ orange-and-blue uniforms.

Behold, official Denver Bronco Russell Wilson:

It’s not a full setup yet — Denver went without pads for its low-impact, get-acquainted workouts — but it’s still a little jarring to see. Wilson is still No. 3, but he’s traded the angry bird of prey from his first 10 years in the league for the Broncos’ still-very-90s stylized horse. Fortunately, it gets a little more familiar once you see Russ in action, even if its just delivering a handoff to fellow new arrival/head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

Wilson’s arrival in Colorado has bumped Denver’s championship odds to +1500 — tied for seventh-best in the NFL, per Tipico Sportsbook. They’re tied with the Los Angeles Chargers for the third-best odds to win the AFC in 2022.
