Casino site John Slots have worked out how much the winning couple are likely to make on Instagram once they leave the villa.
They looked at the number of Instagram followers for the past 14 winners of the show and used a social media earnings calculator to work out how much former winners could charge per sponsored Instagram post on average.
When analysing the earnings of all former Love Island winners, winners have gone on to earn an average of £4,519 per sponsored Instagram post.
Former female winners tend to perform better on average in terms of online following and earnings from Instagram. Based on past female winners, this year’s female winner can expect to have amassed an average of 1,868,279 Instagram followers and would be able to earn an average of £5,216.28 per sponsored post on the platform.
When looking at all former male Love Island winners, the analysis revealed that this year's male winner can expect lower averages of 1,248,785 followers by the end of the show, and earnings of £3,821.83 per sponsored Instagram post – nearly £1,400 less than their partner.
A spokesperson for John Slots said: “As this year’s series draws to a conclusion, Ekin-Su and Davide are currently the bookies’ favourites, with fans wondering whether they will split or steal the £50,000 prize if they win.
“However, it is the lucrative earnings made once the series has finished that our remaining contestants will also be keeping an eye on. With former contestants earning upwards of £10,000 simply for featuring a product in their Instagram posts, it is the series winners who will have the best chance of securing their dream brand deals.”
