While NFL teams have their offseason training programs, there is nothing quite like the demanding grind of training camps.
Most often, with the sun beaming on a hot practice field, players are expected to bring their absolute best. They’re tested physically through challenging practices and mentally by learning, re-learning, and polishing up the complexities of several-inch thick playbooks. And by the end of it, leaders of every team have to cut down their roster to a “regular-season” version.
Rest assured, this summer will be no different as a daunting obstacle for the players. But I suppose that’s the point of camp: preparing properly for a 17-game NFL season. You can find when your team will fire up its training camp journey this week by expanding the tweet below via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Note: Many teams have started having their players trickle in, especially rookies — who usually report a week early anyway.
