As DWP cost of living payments have been set to pay people across the summer, this September sees the Government have also been processing payments to support those in need during the cost of living crisis. The first cost of living payment was already sent out to low income families between 14 and 31 July- as the £650 comes in two separate payments.
As reported by Nottinghamshire Live , just over seven million people received £326 in July- although some may have to wait longer if they were involved in a benefits appeal and won entitlement to an eligible benefit later on. Meanwhile for those on tax credits, a benefit with a sum of £326 administered by HMRC, had to wait slightly longer as the payment was processed between September 2 and 7.
