The goods hit first by Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China

President Donald Trump’s long-threatened tariffs have come into effect and America's top trading partners are threatening retaliation.

On Tuesday, he imposed 25 percent taxes on imports from Canada and Mexico and doubled his levies on Chinese products to 20 percent.
