The Miami Dolphins addressed offensive line issues last offseason, signing offensive tackle Terron Armstead and guard Connor Williams.
However, while it was originally expected that Williams would slot in at left guard, he found his home at center, playing every snap at his new spot.
This meant left guard would fall to Liam Eichenberg, who struggled to find consistency, partly due to injury. When he wasn’t in, he was replaced by Robert Jones, a former undrafted lineman out of Middle Tennessee, and the drop-off wasn’t that noticeable.
While the right side is locked down by Robert Hunt, Miami may be looking to upgrade between Armstead and Williams this offseason, and they could do that by signing a veteran in free agency.
