Herc Holdings Earnings Perspective: Return On Capital Employed

According to Benzinga Pro data Herc Holdings (NYSE:HRI) posted a 0.69% decrease in earnings from Q3. Sales, however, increased by 5.01% over the previous quarter to $578.00 million. Despite the increase in sales this quarter, the decrease in earnings may suggest Herc Holdings is not utilizing their capital as effectively as possible. In Q3, Herc Holdings earned $72.30 million and total sales reached $550.40 million.
