Henry Nowak’s family “suffered the most unimaginable horror” which has been “exacerbated by their experience of the criminal justice system”, Alex Chalk said as it was confirmed he will lead an independent review into his murder.
The review into the 18-year-old’s death will look at “any missed opportunities to intervene”, home secretary Shabana Mahmood told the Commons on Monday.
