'Hello hello, here we go!' - take our Liverpool European famous commentary quiz

Liverpool have delivered some special and memorable nights in establishing themselves as one of European football's most elite teams.

Fans have travelled to all corners of the continent following the Reds - from Amsterdam to Zurich via Valencia.

Many of those iconic games have been captured on television and radio and are embedded in the memories of supporters.

So too are the words of the commentators who have covered the huge games and big moments, leaving their own indelible imprint on Liverpool's storied history.

The ECHO has taken a trip down memory lane and pulled out 10 moments from Liverpool's European illustrious history.

Now we are testing your knowledge by asking you to match the famous commentary to the event they are describing. There are 10 questions, with three multiple choice answers, and you can take the quiz below.

Liverpool have the European Cup/Champions League six times in 1976–77, 1977–78, 1980–81, 1983–84, 2004–05 and 2018–19.

The triumph in Istanbul, where the Reds came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 and then won on penalities, is one of the most famous comebacks in football history.

Liverpool have also won the UEFA Cup three times in 1972-72, 1975-76 and 2000-01. It is the latter of these which will be most memorable to many fans with the Reds edging a 5-4 classic with Alaves in Dortmund.

Liverpool have also won the UEFA Super Cup four times, with the most recent in 2019 with a penalty shootout win over Chelsea.
