Arrowhead Game Studios, the developer behind the popular third-person multiplayer shooter Helldivers 2, has revealed details about the upcoming 'biggest update yet' for the game on PlayStation and PC platforms. Helldivers 2 has achieved significant success, becoming the fastest-selling PlayStation game of all time with 12 million copies sold in its first 12 weeks.

The new update, titled Escalation of Freedom, is set to be released on August 6 and is described as the most substantial update to date by the studio. The update aims to enhance the gameplay experience for existing players and attract new ones to the Helldivers universe.
