Helldivers 2 continues to experience overwhelming success, facing challenges in accommodating the large influx of players on PS5 and Steam platforms. The game has set a new Steam concurrent record, surpassing 400,000 players. Previously, the split between PlayStation and Steam players was reported as 50/50, but the current distribution remains uncertain due to the massive total player count.
The Helldivers 2 community is eager to attract even more players to join the game. Interestingly, the game has sparked a rare moment of unity between PlayStation and Xbox fans, with Xbox players expressing a desire for the game to be available on their platform. Some PlayStation players also support this idea, emphasizing the fun and engaging co-op gameplay that Helldivers 2 offers.
