Helen Skelton appears not to have surprised her loyal fans as she shared some updates on her young children. The Countryfile host is a doting mum to two sons Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and one-year-old daughter Elsie who she shares with ex-husband Richie Myler.
Former Blue Peter presenter Helen surprised her fans and followers in April last year when she confirmed her separation from the Leeds Rhinos rugby star Richie months after they welcomed their third child together.
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2013, announced their split with Helen penning on her Instagram Story at the time: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."

Helen has since gone on to make the final of Strictly Come Dancing alongside professional dancer Gorka Marquez and picked up a string of other hosting gigs and shows alongside her already successful TV and radio career.
But above all the 39-year-old is a loving mum who has been sharing more regular updates on her three youngsters. Earlier this week, she took to Instagram with a snap of her son Ernie ready for a messy bike ride as he posed with his arms crossed in a full bike helmet and goggles.
"Never dull……." Helen started to type alongside the snap. "True story he came with me to work one day and blagged a bike. Hasn’t been off it since," she added alongside a number of hashtags including one that read 'my boy'.
Helen has since returned to social media with a photo of little Elsie who appears as inquisitive as her older siblings as she was seen standing on what appeared to be a dog bed to get a closer look at the goldfish which was swimming inside a tank placed on top of a sideboard.
"Sums. Her. Up." Helen wrote alongside the hilarious image before jokingly adding: "Pray for Kevin." And fans weren't surprised to see Helen's daughter in such a predicament as her celebrity pals also shared messages in the comments section.
While former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley posted a string of crying laughing emojis, TV presenter Steph McGovern wrote: "I love Elsie." Fellow Coutnryfile presenter Julia Bradbury also laughed and said: "Bit of climbing... Hi girl!" as ex-Blue Peter host Ayo Akinwolere said: "Not like a child of yours to be doing things beyond their years - chip off the ol block."
