Helen Skelton stuns in leather pants alongside BBC Strictly co-stars after fighting back tears during tour

Helen Skelton looked stunning as she rocked a pair of leather pants before fighting back tears during the latest leg of the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour. The Countryfile host has spent the last week out on the road with several of her fellow Strictly 2022 stars and some of the show's cast of professional dancers as they perform at arenas across the country.

The tour kicked off in Birmingham last week before heading to Nottingham and Leeds with Manchester next on the list with shows on Saturday (January 28) and Sunday (January 29) at the city's AO Arena. But Helen, who made it to the final of the BBC One dnace contest last month, isn't dancing with Gorka Marquez.

Despite the pair being within touching distance of the Glitterball trophy during the final in December, which was instead lifted by Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał, Helen has had to swap dance partner for the string of live shows. She has been paired with Kai Widdrington after Gorka chose not to sign up for the tour in order to spend time with his family - fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their daughter, Mia.

The new coupling have since been winning rave reviews during the tour so far but it's not all about the dancing as the show's stars - including Tyler West, Ellie Simmonds, Will Mellor, Molly Rainford, Fluer East and the show's host Janette Manrara - have all been enjoying some down time in each city they're performing in.

And during their recent stint in Leeds, Helen and Janette, both 39, and Strictly pro Dianne Buswell decided to head off to spend some girly time together. But it appears they also spent a bit of time psoing as they popped in to Dollhouse, the pink-themed pub with bespoke cocktails and also plenty of picture opportunities.

The Instagrammable venue boasts its very own Barbie boxes whoich the girls wasted no time in getting into. In one snap, posted by Janette to her Instagram, Helen could be seen donning a pair of black leather trousers and a red patterned top with her blonde locks pulled back into a bun.

The mum-of-three pouted for the camera as Dianne pulled a sexy pose alongside her while looking sensational in a figure-hugging dress and thigh-high socks. "Well behaved women don’t make history," Janette, who is hosting the tour after hosting Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on BBC2, captioned the string of snaps.

It referred to the quote etched across a gold-framed mirror in the venue which the trio posed in front of for a gorgeous picture. Janette also posed solo for one of the snaps as she stunned in a pair of red leather pants which she paired with a black shirt and chunky boots. And fans were soon sharing their compliments.

@janettesxstrictly_ said: "Ur all absolutely stunning. Hope ur having a great time on tour can’t wait to see you very soon." @strictly_jaljaz wrote: "I love these photos! Hope you are having the best time on tour." @miss_janette_manrara replied: "You guys are gorgeous."

But the fun day out came before Helen got emotional after receiving a standing ovation for one of her routines on the tour. The former Blue Peter presenter appeared overwhelmed by the response as she and Kai performed what was Helen and Gorka's sexy couples choice routine to Mein Herr from Cabaret.

A fan at the show, @kaaaaatie_x, tweeted: "The reaction to Helen's couples choice tonight was one of the most special tour moments I've ever witnessed, absolutely bawled my eyes out." She went on to share videos of the electric reaction which heard the crowd chanting and screaming as the routine came to an end.

As she headed over to chat to Janette and get the judges comments from Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood, Helen was hard saying to the crowd: "I don't want to short change you guys tonight because usually at this point we do the funnies, take the mick.

"I take the mick out of Will, Fleur takes the mick out of me but I can't do that tonight because this is different for me. I had so many great years in this city. My baby girl was born at the hospital and my kids learned to ride their bikes on the streets of Leeds so this is a place that will forever hold a place in my heart and to get to do this... means a lot," she added as she got choked up and pulled into a hug by Janette and Kai.
