Helen Skelton has spoken out on how she navigates her new life as a single mother, after her split from husband Richie Myler in April.
The former Blue Peter presenter, 39, thanked fans for their "lovely messages" of support after it emerged Richie is expecting his first baby with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
Speaking on Lorraine today, Helen joined Ranvir Singh to offer advice to fellow mums about how to juggle a work-life balance and avoid feeling guilty when you spend some time away from your children.
Helen has thrown herself into competing on Strictly while raising their three children.
Meanwhile, her rugby player ex Richie is set to become a father for the fourth time with his new girlfriend Stephanie, who is the daughter of the multi-millionaire president of Leeds Rhinos.
Helen explained to one caller with a query how sometimes the 'biggest and most liberating thing' she does is to put her phone away in a drawer at times, as she revealed how she 'switches off' when she needs some time alone.
The former Blue Peter presenter stressed the importance of 'snatching 10 minutes here and there' for yourself, as she shared her tips for keeping 'mum guilt' at bay for fellow parents raising young children.
As one viewer asked how she can avoid falling victim to 'mum guilt', Helen offered her top tips.
"My best friend called me after she had a baby to ask why no one told her about 'mum guilt'," the star began as she spoke from her hotel room via video link.
"It's normal, it's common and it's across the broad," Helen continued. "If you can snatch 10 or 15 minutes here and there, you will benefit and your kids will too."
Countryfile presenter Helen was left devastated when Richie called it quits on their eight year marriage in April, just four months after she gave birth to their third child.
Alongside their newborn daughter Elsie Kate, the former couple also share sons, Ernie, six, and Louis, four.
As one Loraine viewer asked how she could enjoy peace and quiet in her home, Helen advised: "For me, one of the biggest and most liberating things I do is to put my phone away at times.
"It's so easy to get sucked into work emails and extra tasks," the mum-of-three continued, adding: "Feel free to delegate and tell other people you're carving some time out for yourself that is yours."
She went on to add: "Get away from social media too - that doesn't help".
Discussing her upcoming dance to Blue Peter music on Strictly this weekend, Helen admitted she was so excited to take to the dancefloor to bust a move to the theme tune of the show she cut her teeth on as a presenter.
"I loved [my time on Blue Peter], it was a part of my identity," Helen recalled.
She concluded her appearance on Lorraine by thanking fans for their sweet messages of supporting, admitting she has had "so many lovely messages from mums".
