Helen Skelton has a 'standard' moment with her daughter that we're sure many parents will relate to after taking some time out of her Easter break with her own children to spend some time with some others. The Countryfile host enjoyed a fun-filled week in London with Ernie, Louis and Elsie who she shares with her ex-husband.
Helen, 39, and Leeds Rhinos rugby star Richie Myler announced their split a year ago this month (April). Helen penned on her Instagram Story at the time: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."
And over the weekend, Strictly Come Dancing star Helen took to her Instagram Story to share what she and the kids had been getting up to as they spent some time down south and away from their Cumbrian home. She shared a picture of her son enjoying a spot of rock climbing in the park.
"Even in central London he finds places to climb," she typed alongside the post. Another picture showed Helen smiling for the camera as she walked through KidZania in Westfield centre. The former Blue Peter host has joined forces with Kinder to offer families a jam-packed schedule of fun this Easter.
And Helen kicked the festival off te immersive festival by hosting an animal play workshop all about creativity and social skills as Kinder opens its Masters of Play Festival doors to the public for its first day. and was seen getting involved in the activities both on stage and off.
She then later returned to social media where she shared a picture of Elsie, who turned one in December. The youngster could be seen sporting a striped t-shirt under a pair of denim-inspired dungarees, however, she was without one of her shoes as the cuffs of her trousers travelled up her legs.
"Standard... One shoe lost. Flirting with the restaurant," Helen typed alongside a crying laughing emoji as Elsie stood in middle of the walk way through the restaurant as other tables could be seen in the background. It comes after the one-year-old was branded her 'mother's daughter' last week.
She took to Instagram with a picture of her little girl who was just like her mum as she tried to keep dry in the drizzly weather. Elsie could be seen sporting a floral waterproof jumpsuit over her clothes as she still wore her cute little velcro shoes. "First one you’re desperate to get on their feet…. Third one walking since ten months."
@gill.rushworth commented on the post: "She's her mother's daughter! There'll be no stopping her!!!!" @never2oldfurniture shared: "Beautiful. There's no stopping her now." @rosybushell0606 added: "Good on their feet like their Mum."
