Helen Skelton's ex-husband Richie Myler has paid tribute to new partner Stephanie Thirkill on her birthday, hailing her "the most wonderful person I know".
The Leeds Rhinos rugby player, 33, began dating Miss Thirkill, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, in May last year, just days after announcing his split from Springwatch presenter Skelton, with whom he shares three children, in April.
