Helen Skelton's ex husband posted a message on Instagram before deleting his profile. Rugby league star Richie Myler shares three children with the TV presenter and their break up became a hot topic as she took part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The 32 year old said he had received abusive messages, Chronicle Live reports. The Leeds Rhinos player said in his message: "I’ve decided to put my profile private from now on. If you are on here to share my photos or stories of me and my life maliciously to other people or waste your time sending me abusive messages please just unfollow me.
"I'm going to start removing people from my account one by one, so if you are a genuine rugby fan and I accidentally remove you, I apologise in advance and will accept you back! Thank you Richie."

Richie then deleted his entire profile. Skelton came runner up on Strictly after winning hearts with her dance partner Gorka Marquez. On Friday night, January 6, she shared a selection of photos of herself from the last few months as the thanked those who have given her a boost.
She posted: "APPRECIATION post….. I have never been good at taking proper insta pics, I am however INSANELY grateful for the clothes, hair and make up that have made me feel fab over the last few months."
Helen said, in her first message of the new year, that her new motto was "never complain. Never explain."
Helen and Richie welcomed their third child Elsie Kate into the world on December 28, 2021. They also have two young sons Ernie and Louis.
Helen announced in April last year, four months after she gave birth to their baby daughter, that their eight-year marriage had ended.
During her, stint on the BBC One show, Helen was emotional as she told how her dad told her "you seemed like you again." She said: "I thought it was just dancing it's so much more than that."
