Helen Skelton parties with Steph McGovern at Beyonce's Sunderland gig

Helen Skelton told fans she 'dusted off her dancing shoes' as she partied with Steph McGovern at Beyonce's Sunderland show on Tuesday night.

Like tens of thousands of others, former Strictly star Helen headed to the Stadium of Light to see Beyonce on her Renaissance tour, as Queen B headed to Wearside for the third date of her latest jaunt, in support of her new album of the same name.

Fans queued up for hours to get a prime spot near the stage but, judging by the view Helen had from her seat, she didn't have to line up outside as she and Steph had a great vantage point from one of the stadium's boxes, with the former Blue Peter presenter sharing a look at the stage as Beyonce performed new fan favourite Cozy.

Like many others who flocked to the concert, Helen very much looked the part, with her silver trousers just as sparkly as the glitter on her face, with Steph too getting some added dazzle to her cheeks.

Helen, who reached the Strictly final in Decemb er, uploaded two photos from her night at the Renaissance tour to her Instagram grid on Wednesday and wrote: "Dusted off the dancing shoes. @stephlunch. Thank you @beyonce."

Helen's ever growing number of followers were quick to respond to the post, with one asking: "WHERE for the love of all things shiny did you get those stunning trousers??!!! Equally enamoured with Helen's choice out outfit, a second commented: "Bringing the sparkle wherever she goes."]

Her celebs pals were quick to react too, with Morning Live colleague Sam Qwek writing: "Not jealous one bit, like not even a tiny bit" and former Gogglebox star, REv Kate Bottley telling her: "Oh that’s a happy photo"
